Dear Valued Kendbrin Members,
We miss Kendbrin! This is the strangest time. It is both quiet and hectic in our households as we embrace social distancing, online learning, while balancing the need for healthy living and exercise. While our Nation, State, and Local Communities are all working hard to fight Covid-19, we wanted to take a moment to reach out and let you know how we are planning for the upcoming Kenbrin season.
First, please know that we plan to open Kendbrin for the 2020 Season. There’s a tremendous amount of work going on to prepare for the summer and welcoming you all back to a club, that at least for my family, is a home away from home during the hot months. I am looking forward to catching up with friends, Grill Nights, going to swim meets or a tennis match, and maybe – just maybe sit under the trees and actually read a book. Being a member of Kendbrin is woven into the fabric of my family’s summer existence as I suspect might be the case for your families too.
Secondly, the Board of Governors in conjunction with Sandy Gorham, Kendbrin’s Executive Director, are monitoring Covid-19, its social restrictions and how it might affect the opening date of the club. From here on out, you will be receiving regular communications from the club to keep you in the loop as to those particulars. Please feel free to contact Sandy or me with any questions or concerns as we will be happy to talk to you.
Lastly, without you, Kendbrin doesn’t exist. Your membership dues are the most singular way for us to thrive during the summer months. If you haven’t already done so, please submit your membership dues. The pool and tennis courts are waiting for you!
Be safe and stay well,
Eileen Sweeney, President
Sandy Gorham, Executive Director
